Struggle with the fifth scene

I am really struggling with scene 5 of my novel, where I bring several of the characters -- including a villian -- together. When this type of impasse happens, I tend to do other things, such as more research (yesterday) or household projects (today).

But tomorrow, I will get back to my real work and make some headway. I'll just 'write around the edges' until it all melds together and looks acceptable enough to move on to the next scene.

Pass the chocolate and reading, please. Time to call it a day.
